I can't stop thinking about my meal here. Had the meatball trio, frido misto special to share. Unreal flavours, and by far juiciest, most decadent meatballs ever tasted. For my main I had the ravioli and my gosh what a revelation, the sauce is to die for. To finish off I had the chocolate ganache tart, it was amazing. Can't wait to come back!
Went on a lovely Date Night last night to Culaccino, Good food, great atmosphere. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. (Duck, sauce were very yummy, noodles cooked perfectly, tiny bit salty, but I think it was just that night, not stopping me from going back and doing it again!) Clam with Squid Ink Linguini.(Great! Noodles were best I have had, clams very good and the sauce just made the dish complete) Delicious
Soooooo good! Everything was delicious and the waitresses wine suggestion was spot on. I had an incredible layered lemon dessert served in a jar that was a heavenly surprise for every spoonful.
Stopped in at this quaint bistro recently and was surprised by one of the best meals I had eaten in ages. First of all the dining room is quaint with a european ambiance, open kitchen and first rate wine list. I had the Beef Carpaccio, Eggplant Slider followed by the Lamb Shank. The food was presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. Very friendly and helpful staff. Five star cuisine at a very reasonable price, this is a must visit in Powell River
We stop here every time we come near Powell River (even if it means going out of our way), and from our very first visit shortly after opening, it has never disappointed. The owners take feedback professionally and sincerely and strive to improve your experience. The staff is friendly and informed and their passion shows through without being overbearing. A great wine list and lots of nods to traditional classics with some fresh takes makes Culaccino a wonderful place to while away an afternoon, fuel up for dinner or kill time waiting for a ferry. Cant wait for our next visit!
