The liquor store is well stocked and ok priced, friendly staff. The fuel dock, a little boy "Manning" it, too busy to come away from his computer game to help us dock until the last moment, they have a tip option on the visa machine, if he had given any kind of help or service fair enough. I'll try somewhere else in the future.
This place is about as prefect as you can get! It has everything on site or close by. Guest laundry, small store with beer and snacks. Views are amazing. Beds very comfortable, room was clean and we'll kept. Ten stars for value!
I really wanted to give this place a great review, staff was amazing, rooms seemed clean, and the view was gorgeous.But.. I stayed 4 nights and got bed bugs. Second night I kept thinking it was spiders but there is no way that spiders bit all over my body. Would not recommend.
Good value in the NEWER section,4 story,larger rooms with balcony,(fridge and microwave are extra), and views of the private harbour,seals,humpback whales.liquor store,upscale restaurant and bar section, limited menu, dinner only,no breakfast,3rd floor is ground level parking
Okay it is not posh. If you are looking for the Fairmont experience this ain't it. We loved it. It was very quiet, just the sounds of boats, sea birds and sea. It's the perfect place for people who love natural beauty. There is access to the beaches to walk at low tide. There is an exceptionally well-provisioned wine and beer store on the bottom floor. Our room was clean and comfy. I would have given it five stars if the dining room had been open. We were making plans to come back even as we left.
