This was a boutique Inn with unique furnishings, very attentive ownership, and a dedication to the art of hospitality. Although the location is a bit out of the way, it is situated by a wonderful microbrewery and and East Indian restaurant that made some of the finest food in that tradition that I have tested in years. Your stay includes a full breakfast cooked to order. Saturday's are a bit slower service in the cafe so allow time for it. Each room is unique with a private bath- my only regret from my stay is not asking for a room with a tub when I booked. Say hi to JP- the owner with a flair for excellence! He makes the job look easy.
Wow what a great Hotel. So many wonderful photos, beautiful antique furniture, very comfortable bed, very clean and even better stories. Our host JP was amazing and kind!! Great location in Historic Townsite in Powell River. We will be back again and again. I highly recommend staying here for anyone!!
The Old Courthouse Inn is amazing! The interior is beautifully decorated with antiques from the 20's and 30's and this creates a special atmosphere. The Inn has a small restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch. We had the Salmon benny and it was absolutely delicious! Above all, we appreciated the hospitality of JP who was really kind to us and let us store our stuff before we headed out on a hike on the Sunshine Coast Trail.Really cool place! Would definitely go back and stay there.
Had a great stay but you have to be open to staying next to a pulp mill. The location otherwise has everything I needed brewery, theatre, Indian and Greek food all in walking distance. And access to an incredible back country of hiking, biking and swimming.
Loved it here. Room was quiet and cozy. Staff were over the top helpful! Everyone was eager to find or do what ever was needed!
