Went for a small reception in one of the conference rooms. The food was fine and the folks looking after us were pleasant. The location is very central.
In Powell River this is the best place to stay. Strong WiFi, amazing front desk and friendly cleaning staff. Access to the pub and Garden Court restaurant both are very accommodating and could manage the flow of people. With reservations was able to check out with 24hr notice and no issues. Very clean place even with a dehumidifier. No issues with allergies as compared to other places in Powell River. Plenty parking and room service if so desired. Jeff (along with other staff, he just was the person we interacted with the most) at the front desk has been amazing, very calm and able to handle rushes of guests in need of assistance.
My wife and I had been having a very long travel day! We searched on line and the closest hotel was the town center, worried that there would be no vacancy( do to the time of year) we walked in and from the second we approached the desk person he greeted us with a smile. Jeff got us a room immediately and was able to answer all of our questions. We also had to sign some important documents while we were there and the entire staff were all so helpful. Thank you so much for the great experience. We will definitely stay here again.
Corporate hotel with no character or sole. Night here redeemed by enthusiastic staff and proximity to ferry terminal for early morning crossing to Vancouver Island. Continental breakfast was excellent
