Nice place. Steeeeeep hill up and parking, good thing I wasn't driving my standard vehicle. The room we had was a 2 bedroom. Very basic, but price was good! Parking spots are tight, especially if your room neighbours don't know how to park...
The owner put money before the convenience of guests. We had booked 6 weeks before, then called (the motel) to confirm 2 weeks before, and yet the owner allowed the previous guests to stay in the room we had booked when they asked to stay another night, so WE had to change rooms the next day. We couldn't stay in the room we stayed in the first night because there were guests coming for that room. It didn't seem to matter that we had come in from another province just for the weekend and wasted half a day in order to change rooms (the wait until other the guests in our room checked out and the room was cleaned) before we could proceed with our plans. No offer of refund!!!
Stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it the owners were very helpful when we needed a kettle and 2 spoons highly recommended for Powell river area
I stayed at the 2 bedroom "house". Pretty good place but many things are starting to fall off. The picture included was part of the living room.
Nice little motel with a great view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure in shower. Clean
